CCWHA D1 NOVEMBER PLAYERS OF THE MONTH – The Central Collegiate Women’s Hockey Association Division 1 presents the three stars of the month. For November 2017, the third star of the month belongs to Jenna Trubiano of the University of Michigan, second star goes to Brittany Levasseur of Adrian College, and first star of November is awarded to Nicole Paradis of Adrian.
Trubiano of Michigan gathered 12 points in the month of November. The captain had a four game point streak to start the eleventh month of the year, starting with two assist against Massachusetts in the 3-2 loss, two assists in the 4-1 win over Penn State and a goal and two assists in a 3-1 loss to Rhode Island while at the ACHA showcase. Trubiano’s point streak ended after picking up a single goal in the 3-2 loss to Grand Valley in a 3-2 loss. Helping Michigan to a 3-3 month of November, Trubiano grabbed four more assists in the last two games of the month. Two apples against Liberty (5-3 L) and two in the 3-2 win over Robert Morris. The senior earned second star of the weekend in the Robert Morris series. Trubiano has put up 19 total points (4g, 5a) for the Wolverines this season with one game-winning-goal and one short-handed goal and is currently the point leader for Michigan.
Levasseur tallied eight points for the Bulldogs in four games during November. Adrian went 3-1 while Levasseur grabbed five goals and three assists. One goal and one assist in the 8-0 win over Miami, two goals in the 6-1 win over Miami, a single goal in the 4-1 loss to Liberty, and a goal and two assists in the 13-0 win against Davenport. Levasseur has tallied a total of 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points this season, with six power play goals and one game-winner.
Paradis, who currently leads the Bulldogs in points this season, registered 12 points (5g, 7a) in November. In the 8-0 win over Ohio State Paradis grabbed two points (1g, 1a), during the series with Miami (8-0 and 6-1 wins) three goals and two assists. In the 4-1 loss to Liberty a single assist was recorded and Paradis recorded four points (1g, 3a) in the 13-0 win against Davenport. For the 2017-18 season so far, Paradis has tallied 31 total points (12g, 19a) with one game-winner, two power-play goals, and one short-handed goal.
