CHICAGO, IL. – The Eagles of Robert Morris University – Chicago host the Redhawks of Miami University in a home-and-home series for RMU. Miami enters the weekend 5-2-1 in CCWHA play, while Robert Morris sits at 0-2 in league play, 6-2-0 overall this season.


The Redhawks are led by Rachael Booth (3g-3a), who averages .75 points per game this season. Booth has two game-winning-goals under her belt which puts her at No. 2 in the league for GWG. With six total points, Booth grabs the No. 6 spot for total points in the CCWHA.  Jessica Gould (2g-4a) averages .50 assists per game (No. 3 CCWHA). Gould currently averages .75 points per league game while sitting at No. 3 for total points in the CCWHA. Kaley Mooney tops out the top three point leaders for the Redhawks with five points, No. 5 in the league. Mooney averages .63 points per game while also averaging .50 goals per game (No. 7 CCWHA). Emalee Wills is 5-2-1 for the Redhawks with .99 goals against average (No. 1 CCWHA) and a .946 save percentage (No. 2 CCWHA). With two shutouts, Wills leads the amount of shutouts in the CCWHA.

Miami had last weekend off, and the last league games played were against Grand Valley State University (Nov. 6/7), where the Redhawks had a split series with the Lakers. In the two game series, Booth grabbed a goal in the 5-2 win, Gould snagged a goal in each game and Wills made 31 saves from 35 shots on net after seeing time in both games.


Makaila Anderson (11g-6a) leads the Eagles in points and averages .50 goals per game. Second in points is Abbey Revelle with nine goals and five assists. Allyson Zachwieja (7g-7a) is currently averaging .50 goals per game in league action. Kendra Gallaher has seen time in net for five games this season, posting a 5-0-0 record. Gallaher has posted a .79 goals against average, picked up four shutouts and has a .959 save percentage. Laura Noble has been in goal for three games, 1-2-0, and has a 3.67 goals against average with a .887 save percentage.

The Eagles come off a league sweep of Davenport University, 5-4 in OT and a 5-0 win. Anderson tallied four goals in the overtime win and two points (1g-1a) in the 5-0 win. Zachwieja grabbed two assists in the sweep, while Revelle along with the game-winning-goal in the 5-4 matchup also registered four points (3g-1a). Gallaher was in net for the series grabbing 50 saves from 54 shots on net.


The two teams met twice during the 2014-15 season, with Miami taking the series 2-0, with 4-2 and 2-1 wins. Booth registered two assists in the sweep for Miami, while returner Katie Augustine was among the point leaders for the series with two assists as well. Wills was in net for the 4-2 win stopping 19 of 21 shots on net. Robert Morris was led by Anderson (1g-1a) in the losses.
