Molly Mahoney has been the CCWHA D2 Commissioner since it’s 2011. Prior to that, she was a member of the CCWHA Executive Board for two years where she served  as the Assistant Commissioner.  Mahoney is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the League’s business including facilitating bi-annual conference calls, coordinating the end of the year tournaments, overseeing the duties of the secretary and treasurer, communicating with coaches and recruiting new teams to join the league.

Outside of the league, Molly holds a full-time position in South Bend, IN as the Programming & Events Coordinator at Compton Family Ice Arena. Molly works to organize all events at Compton from Notre Dame hockey games to Synchronized Skating regional championships to developing new opportunities like Learn to Skate and Learn to play hockey classes.

A native of Kalamazoo, MI, Mahoney was awarded her bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University and then went on to pursue a masters degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. While a student at GVSU, Molly played on the women’s hockey team for two years, which is where she was first introduced to the CCWHA.



This is Rachel Reuter’s 12th season as a member of the CCWHA Executive Board. Rachel has served as the Assistant Commissioner of the league since 2012 and as the Web Administrator since 2007. Rachel is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the League’s business (both Division I and Division II), including bi-annual conference calls, the end of the year tournaments, and communicating with coaches. Additionally, Rachel updates the official league websites (both DI & DII), maintains league standings and schedules and tracks all statistical information from league games. She is also currently researching the league’s history and creating a statistical archive of all players in the league’s 20-year history.

Outside of the CCWHA, Rachel works for the University of Michigan as the Senior Health & Safety Advisor for International Travel. She works closely with college-aged students, faculty, and staff, as they prepare to travel abroad and provides information, advice, and support as, is necessary as well as assists these travelers if an emergency or crisis occurs while overseas.

Rachel was a student-athlete in the CCWHA for five years at the University of Michigan, where she was awarded a Bachelors degree in 2011.  After graduation, Rachel moved to Denver, CO to attend graduate school, earning a Masters in International Security in 2013. She is originally from Northville, MI.


The 2018-2019 season will be Mackenzie’s 4th season with the CCWHA as Communications Manager. She oversees all communications related efforts for the CCWHA including writing and posting all press releases and news stories about all teams (both Division I and Division II), communicating with coaches, managing all of the social media platforms for the leagues and also designing sports graphics for game day and post game use.

Mackenzie is also the Co-Commissioner for CCWHA Division 2.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Mackenzie received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2014. During her time at MSU, Mackenzie played for the MSU women’s ice hockey program for five years for both the Division I and Division II teams.

The CCWHA DI Secretary is responsible for recording minutes and notes at league meetings and ensuring accurate record keeping for these minutes. Additionally, the Secretary will work on special projects as requested and communicate with the rest of the executive board throughout the year as issues arise.

The CCWHA D1 Treasurer plays a crucial role in the CCWHA Executive Board as they are responsible for the daily financial operations of the league. This includes maintaining the DI bank account, sending invoices, paying referees and vendors, assisting in the creation of the league’s budget and ensuring that all financial matters are in order.
