D1 ATL 1/22-1/24
DAVENPORT/OHIO STATE – Ohio State University took on Davenport University in a CCWHA league matchup, where Davenport came out on top in both games, 6-3 and 2-0.
Megan Martin led the Panthers in the 6-3 victory with four points (3g, 1a). Lexie Boydston (1g), Ashley Reese (1g) and Laken Kunz (1g, 2a) tallied the other DU goals. Patsy Howe grabbed two assists while Adrienne Porcalla registered two assists as well. Karley Ferguson got the nod in net for Davenport and made 17 saves on 20 shots on goal for the win.
Emily Ciborek was in between the pipes for Ohio State making 48 saves on 54 shots on net. Jessica McCoy, Courtney Trudeau and Emilie Dunlap tallied the goals for the Buckeyes. Brittany Brandon added on an assist in the 6-3 loss.
The second game brought a closer score between the two teams. Davenport grabbed two goals against Ohio State with Boydston and Emily Ellis each putting one in. Dawn Salo was in net for the 2-0 win, grabbing 28 saves on 28 shots on net. Ciborek was in net again for OSU, this time making 51 saves on 53 shots on net.
Third star of the weekend goes to DU’s Kunz with three points (1g, 2a), second star is OSU’s Ciborek who went 99/107 and first star belongs to DU’s Martin with four points (3g, 1a).
MICHIGAN STATE/ADRIAN – The Adrian College Bulldogs traveled to Michigan State for an away-and-home series, with Adrian topping the Spartans 6-3 in the first of two games.
Nicole Paradis led the Bulldogs with two goals while Nicole Laflamme (1g, 1a), Kaillie Hardy (1g, 1a) and Jessica Rushing (1g, 1a) each tallied goals as well. Alicia Tait (1a) and Shannon Osland (1a) contributed assists to the six Adrian goals. Alison Dungey grabbed the win for AC in net.
Lyndsay Oden registered two of three of the Spartan’s goals, while Kara Scaturro tallied the third goal. Sydney Glanz, Bree Kraut, Alexis Smith, Kelsey Cross, Ashley Astor and Olivia Lord recorded the assists for Michigan State. Hannah Johnson and Kathryn Hamer both spent time in net for MSU.

ROBERT MORRIS/D2 IOWA STATE – Robert Morris University took on Division-2 ACHA member Iowa State University. The Cyclones took down the Eagles twice, 5-3 and 5-4.
Makaila Anderson led the way in the 5-3 win, grabbing two goals for the Eagles. Grace Dynek tallied the other Eagle goal. Allyson Zachwieja (1a) and Abbey Revelle (1a) tallied the helpers on the three goals for Robert Morris. Kendra Gallaher was in net and made 19 saves on 24 shots on goal.
The Eagles were led by Dynek in the second game who tallied three points (1g, 2a). Anderson grabbed a goal as well as Zachwieja (1g, 1a) and Marissa Brokaw (1g). Alex Nurse registered an assist on one of the four RMU goals. Laura Noble was in net for Robert Moriss making 21 saves on 26 shots on net.
MICHIGAN/COLORADO STATE – The University of Michigan took on Colorado State in a one-game series and topped the Rams 4-1.
Jenna Trubiano led the way for the Wolverines with two points (1g,1a) while Karoline Inman also tallied two points (2a) in the win. Mercedes Reyes (1g), Jennifer Cusmano (1g) and Leah Krieger (1g) also contributed to Michigan’s goals. Lia Harrington (1a) tallied a helper in the 4-1 win. Julia Chenoweth was in net for the Wolverines picking up 28 saves on 29 shots on goal.
ADRIAN/COLORADO STATE – Adrian also battles against the Rams of Colorado State University and fell 4-3.
Kaillie Hardy led the way for the Bulldogs with two points (1g, 1a). Nicole Paradis (1g), and Morgan Praska (1g) also registered goals. Summer Frey (1a), Sabrena Camp (1a) and Valerie Twigg (1a) got helpers on the three Adrian goals. Ellyn Stanton (17/21) and Alison Dungey (3/3) both spent time in net.
GRAND VALLEY/LINDENWOOD-BELLEVILLE – Grand Valley welcomed Lindenwood-Belleville to town, where the Lakers split with LUB, 4-0 and 2-4.
In the 4-0 win, Taylor Watson was in net for GV grabbing 10 saves on 10 shots on net. Katie Danto tallied two goals, while Karyn Schmaltz (1g, 1a), and Stacey Mathieu (1g) helped rack up the goals. Corey Robison (3a), Hilary Daniels (1a) and Kendra Myers (1a) tallied the helpers on the four Grand Valley goals.
Brelin Tasker and Tea Greca put in the two Laker goals in the 4-2 loss. Watson was in net again, making 13 saves on 17 shots on net. Myers tallied an assist in the second game.
MIAMI/COLORADO STATE – Miami University of Ohio took on the Colorado State University Rams as well, and came out with a 4-0 and 8-0 win.
Caroline Noble, Alyssa Visalli, Morgan McGrath, and Kaley Mooney each tallied a goal in the 4-0 win. Emalee Wills was in net for the Redhawks and picked up 18 saves on 18 shots on net. Ireland Mooney (1a), Ellen Chiligris (1a), Izzy Smith (1a) and Jordan Hanson (2a) had the helpers on the goals.
In the 8-0 win, Miami had seven different goal scorers. Noble (1g), I. Mooney (1g), Rachael Booth (2g, 2a), Kathleen Baldwin (1g, 1a) Chiligris (1g), Visalli (1g, 1a), Smith (1g, 2a) tallied the goals. Becca Senden (2a), McGrath (1a) and Kaley Mooney (2a) registered the helpers for Miami. Wills was in net again and made 17 saves on 17 shots on net.
